Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026

// TL;DR

We collect no personal data, set no tracking cookies, use no analytics services, and share nothing with any third party. This site is as private as a website can be.

1. Who We Are

Hidden Wiki (accessible at hiddenwiki3.com) is an independent cybersecurity and privacy education blog. We are committed to practising what we preach — this site is designed with your privacy as the default.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not use Google Analytics, Matomo, or any other analytics platform
  • We do not set advertising or tracking cookies
  • We do not use social media share buttons that phone home
  • We do not embed third-party scripts from ad networks
  • We do not fingerprint your browser or device
  • We do not log your IP address beyond what the web server requires for delivery

3. Contact Form

If you use our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent, and we do not share your details with any third party.

4. Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store only your email address for the purpose of sending you new article notifications. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. We do not sell or share subscriber lists.

5. Server Logs

Our web host may retain standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for a short period for security and abuse prevention. These logs are not analysed for marketing purposes and are not shared with third parties.

6. Cookies

This site does not set any cookies. No consent banner is required because there is nothing to consent to.

7. External Links

When you click a link to an external site (such as the Tor Project or EFF), you leave Hidden Wiki. Those sites have their own privacy policies which we are not responsible for. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any site you visit.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

If we ever change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Given our minimal data practices, changes are unlikely.
